Synopsis:

Following the original shooting script for the film, shuffling around a lot in the first 2 thirds and adding back deleted scenes to fill some gaps in the story, I've tried to restore the film back to how it was originally structured. Nothing major has been cut, it's the same terror-filled film you remember, just restructured for a fresh experience. Strap once more to believe in the boogeyman like never before.

Intentions:

To see how the film would flow following the original script with additional scenes.

Almost every scene has been moved around in some capacity, so I'll talk about it in broad strokes - Alyson, Karen, Rey are introduced right after the main titles instead of going with Aaron and Dana to Laurie's - Laurie is introduced on the gun range instead of during the interview, there is also now a short moment when she contemplates suicide but is interrupted - Some new stuff on the morning of October 31st with Alyson and her friends, as well as Michael hanging a partially eaten dog from a tree - Aaron and Dana at Judith's grave and the petrol station are now back to back - Laurie discovering Michael escaped is moved up to a lot earlier, Laurie hears the news before Michael kills, and she now goes to see Karen after seeing the petrol station killings - Cameron now gets his comeuppance - The entire babysitting sequence is now one long scene instead of being cut in two - The whole sandwich talk has been cut down with the 2nd half gone (the original scripted scene was one line) - Some very short things have been cut to allow for the scenes to flow (a single line from Oscar, a shot of Michael stalking Vicky and 2 shots of Laurie in her car) Hopefully this makes sense, see the forum thread for specific details.

Additional Notes:

I used a copy of the shooting script as a guide to move around the scenes in the film, as well as where to put back the deleted scenes, and what to trim out.
