Synopsis:

While SCREAM 4 was mostly considered as a return to form after the lackluster third installment, I still believed that the pacing and overall tone of the film could be improved with the addition of deleted scenes and the removal of some humor and other bits that hurt the movie.

Intentions:

The editing process was fairly simple, aside from the new opening sequence which involved merging together the theatrical and alternate scenes, removing blood from Ghostface's mask and the furniture, as well as creating 3 shots from different elements in order to bridge the two sequences. This was by far the hardest sequence I've had to edit and I hope everyone who watches the movie enjoys it.

- remove attempts at humor that fall flat - add edited deleted scenes to improve pacing and characterization - make the Woodsboro Police look more competent - increase suspense and scares - re-edit the opening and ending to bring it closer to the original screenplay - color correct the entire movie.
