Synopsis:
In a world where mutants, children of the atom, grapple with their extraordinary powers and face prejudice, Logan, also known as Wolverine, seeks solace and love with Kayla Silverfox. However, his peaceful existence is shattered when his vicious brother, Victor Creed, brutally murders Kayla. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Logan enters the Weapon X program, undergoing a painful procedure that transforms him into a virtually indestructible force, setting the stage for a saga of evolution, conflict, and alliances.
Led by Professor Xavier, the X-Men fight to protect a world that fears them, facing off against Magneto, a former friend turned adversary. Stryker, a villainous figure with ties to Wolverine's past, emerges, posing a threat that prompts the call for a mutant registration act. In the midst of this turmoil, Magneto proposes an uneasy partnership with Xavier and the X-Men to combat a common enemy.
As a cure for mutations is discovered, Mutants must confront a pivotal choice: embrace their powers and remain unique or opt for a cure to become fully human. Tensions rise, leading to a looming war between those who advocate tolerance, led by Xavier, and those who champion survival of the fittest, led by Magneto.
Amidst this turmoil, Wolverine, lured to Japan, finds himself entangled in a shadowy realm of yakuza and samurai. Forced to go on the run with a powerful industrialist's daughter, he confronts the prospect of death and must rediscover the hero within himself while grappling with powerful foes and the ghosts of his haunted past. The series unfolds as a gripping tale of love, revenge, evolution, and the enduring struggle for acceptance in a world divided by fear and prejudice.
Intentions:
I wanted to make the X-Men franchise more manageable for new viewers and to also fix the many continuity mistakes riddled throughout the franchise. This season focuses on the original timeline and sets up the new timeline in season 2.
Change List:
Custom intro and credits for every episode with music by Dave Deville, Ron Wasserman and Dean Grinsfelder.
After speaking with people in the Trans community I have decided to credit Elliot Page as Ellen ‘Elliot” Page because at the time of these movies they were known as Ellen but I still wanted to respect their current name.
Moira MacTaggart from X-Men: The Last Stand was left in because I felt she looked old enough to be the same person from the other films plus her accent isn't that noticeable to question. Also there is no mention of Emma Frosts name in X-Men Origins: Wolverine so I made no attempt to change that character, she is just a different mutant with similar powers.
