Synopsis:

It's a pretty simple edit, like all my edits. I basically went through the movie and tried to remove as much toilet humor as possible. It's just my attempt at tightening up the film with an increased focus on Barry's story.

Intentions:

I liked the THE FLASH a lot but it's not without it's flaws. Once again there was terrible studio meddling and a lot of silly toilet humor that turned what could have been a legendary DC release into a historic flop. That being said I think there's a good amount of gold that was filmed (I wish we could get that 4 hour directors cut). I'm just trying to remove the non sense and let that gold shine through. With these 14 minutes removed I believe this is a significantly improved experience.

Change List:

As usual I'm hopeful you won't notice I edited anything. That is, and always will be, my goal with these edits. Like I've said before, this is basically 'the simple man's cut' and it's best for fans that aren't looking for drastic changes but rather a little tightening up of the film. The silliness is trimmed, the pacing is improved, the film is better. It doesn't really go anywhere and I've seen it all before, and better in MOS) Barry meets young Barry's roommates (heavily trimmed to minimize the guy in in his underwear especially) Barry's talk to Keaton in kitchen trimmed Young Barry head turn joke removed (batwing) Barbie joke removed Terrible /pointless cameos removed (to keep the focus on Barry and his journey) New ending New POST credit scene
