The intention of this cut was to turn the anime-canon two-parter "Goku Dies" + "Will He Strike Back?" into a TV special that fits in line with the Super movies.

Due to how obnoxious Goku is in the first episode and the non-sensical plotting, all subplots have been cut and the main plot has been restructured. Instead we follow Hit completing an assassination mission before receiving his next target, Goku. Afterwards we find Goku at Gohan's house who senses Hit's energy and leaves, causing Gohan and crew to worry and give chase. This cut focuses the story more on Hit's perspective before switching to Goku towards the last quarter or so. - All characters who are not Goku / Hit have been extremely minimized to the bare essentials - Internal / external monologuing has been vastly reduced - All fight scenes tightened

The "Goku Dies" episode is extremely infuriating to watch and cut as there is a lot of time wasted, hence this radical cut.
