Synopsis:
Where It All Began is the conclusion of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's main story, edited to be watched as if it was the finale of a TV show or the climax of a movie.
Intentions:
Despite the fact that Ubisoft considers Kassandra to be the Mercenary and Alexios to be Deimos, I always thought the two were designed and written to be the opposite. Alexios looks like the older sibling while Kassandra looks like the youngest. Melissanthi Mahut does a good Kassandra while she does a great Deimos. Michael Antonakos does a good Alexios while I thought his portrayal of Deimos sounded off. But he did act better when he did scenes with the mocap, as he sounded less gruff doing those. I'm not sure if it was a directional thing or not. Ultimately the game is an RPG, Alexios is valid as the Eagle Bearer just as much as Kassandra is.
Change List:
- Alexios is the Mercenary. Kassandra is Deimos.
- Added fanedit.or and Odyssey title card.
- Added music extracted from game and original soundtrack.
- Loading screens and gameplay elements such as combat and traversal are cut.
- Some footage and audio from certain choices are repurposed or mixed together.
- Used Ikaros for establishing shots.
- Kassandra experiences a flashback of her being embraced by her family when she holds the Spear of Leonidas.
Additional Notes:
To make editing easier, I used the No HUD option that the game provided and most of the footage was recorded without the in-game music. Dialogue options are removed, some footage and audio from certain choices are repurposed or mixed together.
