Synopsis:

This is Buffy Season 1 and 2 formed into a series of five movies. Every one of these movies has a reimagined story arc of its own, but there is an overarching story arc as well that weaves them together to a greater whole. This Buffy saga, named "Buffy Reimagined", contains these movies: 1. Buffy The Prophecy (I already released this one before, containing Buffy season 1 as a movie. But I reworked it for this release, adding six important minutes in the middle to improve the story-telling and to add some needed charm to it.) 2. Buffy 2 - I The Truth 3. Buffy 2 - II The Life 4. Buffy 2 - III The Love 5. Buffy 2 - IV The Awakening.

Intentions:

I love the Buffy TV show, it's one of my most favourite TV shows. By telling the story in form of movies it was possible to make the story more interesting. Of course I used the opportunity to redeem certain storyelements or get rid of those that lessened the overall impact and importance of the story. I hope that through these five movies more people will get to discover and enjoy the sheer brilliance of this TV-show-gem.

Change List:

As you can imagine, considering this release contains five movies, the changes and editing-decisions are too many to list here. And I really don't like spoilers, but maybe I can shed some general light on the process: The biggest challenge was of course to form the story-arcs for the movies and the overall story-arc for the five-movie-series. The original is a TV show so everything is told in 44 minutes, riddled with commercial breaks and repetitive exposition, and of course containing some fillers and story-blunders, as well as different styles due to the different writers and directors involved. So the challenge was to form it in such a way that it not only makes sense in form of movies, but also to make it seem like it was made from one piece. "Buffy Reimagined" is the result.
