Synopsis:

Marvel's Moon Knight presented as two feature films. Steven Grant. Marc Specter.

Intentions:

I wanted to trim Moon Knight for a more condensed marathon viewing of the MCU. Where the original series dragged, in my opinion, was in it's episodic format, filled with expository scenes and often ending episodes in cliff hangers. That said, I also felt there is enough great material to warrant keeping much of it. That made creating a single feature at a decent length feel impractical. Thankfully, there was a natural midpoint that divides the story into two equal halves... given the split personalities of Steven Grant and Marc Specter, a 2 part feature just felt right!

Change List:

PART 1 (2:04:41) - Added FE.org logo - Extended music "Lonely Is A Man Without Love" by Engelbert Humperdinck, to not cut abruptly after MCU logo intro - Cut a scene between Steven Grant and his boss Donna at the museum gift shop where she tells him he has to work night shift - Trimmed dialog the first time Steven and Harrow meet, reducing quips and blatant exposition. - Removed reprise of "Lonely Is A Man Without Love" and trimmed Stephen's panicking after we wakes up. - Cut Steven scaring a neighbor on the elevator by screaming after seeing Khonshu for the first time. - Trimmed Steven going to the storage unit and running from Konshu - Trimmed Marc smashing the mirror - Cut Layla getting her fake passport before heading to Cairo. - Cut Marc chasing Harrow's men through Cairo and repeated black outs. Now it's just one... and it's violent. - Cut Marc and Layla seeing Harrow's men after their boat docks before they meet with her french friend, leaving the arrival of Harrow a few minutes later to be more of a surprise - Numerous small cuts throughout to improve pacing of scene transitions PART 2 (2:07:21) - Added FE.org logo before a recap of Part 1 - Moved the MCU Logo to after the recap and changed the logo to the horror themed version from Werewolf-By-Night. - The opening fight scene in the desert is much brighter - Trimmed scenes of Steven and Layla exploring Ammit's tomb and increased overall brightness. - Cut a few shots of the reveal of the hippo goddess - Cut several moments under ten seconds durring the scene where water fills the cave and Marc's younger brother dies - Cut numerous quick and shakey cam shots durring the fight scene on the boat in the afterlife, where there were about a dozen shots all under 1 second long that made the action feel nauseating. - Cut several of the cut aways to Konshu and Ahmit's kaiju fight on the pyramids - Cut the "Egyptian superhero" line with Layla - Recolored the mid-credits scene to make the lighting appear more natural and less yellow An additional 12 minutes of credits and recaps across 5 episodes has been removed.
