Synopsis:

Dates changed to keep continuity with the of the rest F13 [raymix] series timeline. The new dates give Tina the time to age from 10 in her flashback to 18 in the present time. Both dates are real Friday the 13ths. There are many cuts made to alter the timeline, remove filler, tighten the editing & improve the overall ambiance.

Intentions:

This project aims to bring stronger continuity, tighter editing & improved pacing to all 12 films in the Friday the 13th movie series.

Change List:

I tried to stay true to Maureen O'Connell, Martin Jay Sadoff & Barry Zetlin's editing style from the original film. I didn't want anything to seem changed or altered at all. This mostly meant sharp, quick cutting & trying to keep the energy high. Cuts and Additions: -added the Fanedit.org logo -added my fanedit production logo. -added music over the Paramount production logo & director credit. (Overlay of Evil) -new "A John Carl Beuchler Film" credit. -removed the recap. -new title logo. -new title sequence music. (F13 P7 Main Theme [raymix] ) -added sound effects during the new title sequence. -removed the opening credits. -removed the shot of Jason in the Lake. (he wouldn't have been there during the flashback) -added music to the opening scene. -added "Friday, July 13th 1979" text to Tina's flashback. -cut the shot where you can see a calendar with different date. -the telekinetic dock destruction scene is faster, more intense. -Tina doesn't cry out about what she's done until the dock collapses. -added "Thursday, February 12th 1987" text to the shot of Tina in the car. -cut a shot of Mr. Shepard as Tina stares into the lake. -Michael doesn't run as far from Jason so that Jason doesn't seem to teleport. -smoothed an audio edit when Daniel is killed. -smoothed an audio edit when Judith is killed. -slight slo-mo on the lake house establishing shot. -added "Friday, February 13th" text to the lake house establishing shot. -Nick doesn't go investigating the snapped twig sound. -cut Nick's "big pink elephant" dialog. -cut Nick & Tina's kiss. -cut Eddie opening Michael's gifts. -cut the cat-in-the-closet scare. -cut a few frames of Jason throwing Robbin out the window for a smoother edit from inside to outside. -smoothed an audio edit during the cut from Nick searching the house to Jason in the woods. -Mrs. Shepard & Dr. Crews don't run as far from Jason so that Jason doesn't seem to teleport. -Dr. Crews doesn't run as far from Jason so that Jason doesn't seem to teleport. -slo-mo on the house explosion. -removed Mr. Shepard's return. -added a shot of Jason's mask to post-credits. -added my production logo to the end. -added music cue to post-credits & production logo. (Overlay of Evil)
