Synopsis:

Once upon a time in Hollywood, amidst the glitz and glamour of the 1960s, a story unfolded that would forever change the face of the entertainment industry. The city of dreams shimmered with anticipation as iconic figures roamed its sun-kissed streets. At the heart of it all were Rick Dalton, a fading television star, and his loyal stunt double, Cliff Booth. Together, they navigated the ever-shifting tides of Hollywood, seeking to revive Rick's career and reclaim his former glory. Against this backdrop, a young and radiant actress named Sharon Tate enchanted audiences with her beauty and talent. However, lurking in the shadows was a darkness that would cast a chilling pall over the city. The notorious Manson Family cult, led by the charismatic Charles Manson, plotted a horrifying act of violence that would shock the world. As fate converged, the lives of these characters became intricately intertwined, leading to a dramatic and poignant climax that would forever echo through Hollywood's history. Once upon a time in Hollywood, dreams collided with reality, and the world would never be the same.

Intentions:

My personal experience with this movie was pretty terrible. The pacing was so slow and a few scenes just felt really pointless. I originally wanted to cut this film down to under 2 hours but thanks to the deleted scenes, they helped flesh out some of the storylines, and with some rearranging and slight editing this movie now feels like those 3 hours fly by.
