Synopsis:

The Razor Crest requires further repairs before it can reach Corvus, so the Mandalorian and the child take a detour to Nevarro where they are re-united with their allies. While the Razor Crest is being repaired, the Mandalorian is shown how much things have improved on Nevarro since he was last there, under the stewardship of Karga as magistrate and Dune as marshal. The last challenge they are facing is a remaining Imperial base, which the Mandalorian agrees to help them destroy. They discover that the base is being used as a laboratory by Dr. Pershing to conduct experiments with the child's blood, which has a high M-count. They destroy the base and are pursued by stormtroopers on speeder bikes and TIE fighters. Dune and Karga manage to stop the speeder bikes while the Mandalorian destroys the TIE fighters with the repaired Razor Crest. The Mandalorian and the child leave for Corvus, unaware that an Imperial spy has planted a tracker on the Razor Crest for Moff Gideon.

Intentions:

This Chapter was fairly easy compared to the others. No major story changes or issues with any of the episodes. We’ve mainly just fixed continuity errors, tightened up the dialogue, removed awful attempts at comedy and given Grogu more of an arc so he actually learns something in this movie.

Is it an American thing where “comedians” just keep talking until something lands? • Remove wide shot of village as Krayt dragon arrives. • Remove second wide shot of village as Krayt dragon arrives. The just feel oddly places and timed. Why would they stand there for so long looking at nothing? • Remove Cob saying “It’s picking us off like Womprats”. I think this is the 3rd time in this episode that he uses Womprats. Too many ‘Member berries for my liking. • Extend audio transition for outro. • Remove outro credits. Ep.10 • Remove intro credits • Remove title card • Fix score on transition • Remove all scenes of Peli talking frog • Fix audio to hide dialogue removal above • Remove shot of Grogu eating the second egg. The show doesn’t respect its own storyline and doesn’t give Grogu any lesson to learn from. This way Grogu learns respect and not to act on temptation. He also deserves the cuddle later, rather than Din rewarding bad behavior. • Add baby gaga sounds for Grogu trying to talk to hide burp sound in the original. • Remove Grogu eating the 3rd egg. Having him eat yet another one just makes him look like a brat and kinda puts you off his cuteness. • Fix Audio transition • Remove outro credits Ep.11 • Remove intro credits • Remove title card • Fix audio transition • Remove awkward look from Commander • Remove Shot of Officer saying “Close the doors”. I kept the line but the acting felt off. • Remove Stormtrooper saying “Which one?” • Remove officer saying “All of them!” yet another attempt at comedy when tension should be building. • Remove shot of officer saying yet again “Close ALL OF THEM!” ok, we get hit. You’re an officer and your 1st word should be acted upon. You just look weak by shouting the same order repeatedly. • Remove cowardly shot of officer poking his head up. Is this supposed to be funny? • Remove outro credits • Add Reverb on music outro for transition Ep.12 • Remove intro credits • Remove title card • Fix score for transition • Remove several shots of the kid eating. Timing felt really off in this scene so I just focus on Grogu being cheeky. • Fix audio and score to hide shot edits. • Shorten shot to hide continuity error of Cara Dune coming around the corner in both shots. • Fix audio for shortened clip. • Remove Jeans guy (Accidental crew member making it into the background). Disney did try to fix this mistake by just lazily cropping the scene but I lied the wider shot and it was an easy 6 frame fix. • Fix continuity error/ shot arrangement of Cara Dune leaning on the pole, then standing away from the pole and then leaning on the pole again. • Remove wide shot of Cara Dune leaning on the pole once again. • Fix audio transition in credits • Add “Feature edited by Movies Remastered” to credits • Cut Mando face from credits • Add MR outro logo • Add MR Disney Saber logo
