Synopsis:

Din Djarin reunites with the two surviving members of his Mandalorian sect. They give him some insight into how Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) claiming the Darksaber for herself without winning it in battle helped lead to the Great Purge of Mandalore. Ahsoka Tano takes Mando's gift for Grogu. He's ultimately dissuaded from reuniting with Grogu by a returning Ahsoka Tano, the one-time Padawan of Luke's ill-fated father, Anakin, star of The Clone Wars and revealer of Grogu's name.

Intentions:

This edit is more of a supercut of the Mando episodes from The Book of Boba Fett. Very little needed to be changed in regards to the storyline, it just felt odd that the two best Mando episodes didn't actually feature in The Mandalorian series. This way Din and Grogu's separation feels longer, and adding the "It's been two years line" really helps the audience understand what's going on.

It’s obvious to the audience this happens several times but the speeder doesn’t seem to slow at all. • Fix 5.1 score channel to hide dialogue removal • Remove badly acted shot of Ahmed best just blankly looking into camera. • Remove shots of Armorer hitting the Beskar with her hammer. • Fix score to hide Armorer scene edits. • Remove central channel of audio to hide Clone Trooper sounds. • Transition score into next scene • Fade out force flashback overlay effect • Dip to black • Add Scene from BoBF S01E06 of Grogu waking up • Add Ai Audio of Din saying “It’s been 2 years” when he talking to Ahsoka • Add a highpass on Din’s audio • Add DeNoise effect and bass EQ to Din’s audio • Change timing of Din’s audio to 96% to match his sadder delivery into next line • Add Luke’s lightsaber effect done by Dazman (Great job, man) Check out his edit. • Remove one frame the huge flash from the Training Remote. I thought this made Luke look bad, having it set so high for such a little guy. This way it looks like the remote is set lower. • Add VFX shot to reduce sparks • Transition audio to fix edit above • Remove annoying boomerang shot of Luke looking back at Ahsoka. I’ve noticed they do this lazy back and forth editing in recent tv shows and it looks awful.
