Synopsis:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Intentions:

This one is a fairly simple edit. I just took all the chronological scenes and placed them in this one timeline to continue the series that follows on from The Mandalorian – Chapter I” storyline (See other posts for more details).

Change List:

• Insert Fanedit warning • Insert Intro MR logo • Fix/Add reverb & delay audio on Star Wars logo intro. • Add “A Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….” • Change audio timing to fit above addition. • Add black screen to enhance tension timing and build up. • Dip to black • Change entire edit colourgrade to match OT palette. • Add Boba’s theme for intro • Insert Scene with Boba riding Bantha • Fix transition into night scene. • Fix lighting issue on night scene with Boba feeding Bantha. Tatooine has 3 moon’s, the night scenes shouldn’t be this dark so I’ve given them a moonlight brightness. • Add “Chronological Cut” to intro logo. • Insert new opening title card “Chapter II - In the Name of Honor” • Fix lighting issue on night scene with Boba heading into town with Fennec • Return to regular colour palette for inside the mod shop. No Moon illumination needed indoors. • Fix lighting issue on night scene with Boba riding up to Jabba’s palace (Same reason above) • Fix lighting issue when probe enters the palace. It seems very dark considering all the lights that are inside. I felt it just needed brightening up as a lot of details within the scene are missed. • Fix lighting issue when underground scene with Slave I. Despite lots of moonlight coming into this scene, it felt fairly dark so I’ve given it the same moon illumination grade as the above night scenes. • Fix colourgrade on Slave I flying off into the sunrise. This felt very diluted so I’ve made the sun colour feel more natural and brighter. • Fix lighting issue with sunset scene featuring Boba and Fennec. The scene felt very dark considering the amount of sunlight left in the sky. • Add echo and reverb to outro track so it flows more naturally into the main theme. • Add “Re-edited by Movies Remastered” to the credits • Add MR logo to end credits. • Add MR Disney Saber logo to end credits. • Add “Watch Next – The Mandalorian – Chapter II”
