Synopsis:

The goal of this Fan Edit Compilation is to do just that – combine fanedits and clips of things to improve the timeless classic. I wanted to use the original 1977 cut as a base and go from there – specifically adding in the deleted scenes and SC 38 Reimagined duel while adding in songs from KOTOR and Samuel Kim here and there. I later found a bunch of users on the internet working on different scenes such as the Dark Times short film, and all of the other clips from KOTOR. I have always loved the SWTOR trailers, so I elected to include those as well. Anyway, this is a dream cut of the movie edited for my family and friends and have enjoyed the hobby.

Used Mandalorian’s “A Friend”, KOTOR’s “The Jedi Academy” and “Dantooine” to score the deleted scene. 17:11: Added “Tatooine” song from KOTOR during C-3PO and R2-D2 wondering in the dune sea. 19:32: Added Mandalorian Season 1’s song “Jawas Attack” when the Jawas reveal themselves. 31:19-31:39: Added Blue Milk deleted and scored to KOTOR’s “Taris Upper City.” Upscaled deleted scene using Topaz. 31:58: Added flashback to Kenobi in Kenobi using StryderHD’s deepfake. 32:03: Added flashback to Owen Lars looking grumpy from Kenobi. 37:00: Rescored sand people attack to KOTOR’s “Sand People Ambush.” 37:42: Moved Kenobi’s Krayt dragon sound to be on all 5.1 speakers. 37:45: Rescored Kenobi introduction to Kenobi theme from Kenobi. 40:57: Rescored Kenobi saying he was a jedi to the “Main Menu theme” from Jedi Fallen Order video game. 41:00: Added a flashback scene to Kenobi and Skywalker smiling during the Battle of Yerbana from Clone Wars season 7 episode 9. 42:08-42:25: Added a few of Unreal Cinema’s clips of Ebon Hawk flying, Bastila training, Darth Malak’s warped face, and Revan swinging lightsabers. Scored to Samuel Kim’s The Old Republic Theme & Darth Malak Theme. 42:25-43:07: Added clips of Star Wars trailers. Hope, Deceived, Disorder, and Eclipse. Scored using Samuel Kim’s Bastila Shan and Revan Love Theme and his Star Wars Eclipse Trailer Music – Epic Version (feat. Duel of the Fates x Sardaukar Chant.) I like the scenes so I kept them. 45:59-46:09: Added clip of Darth Vader walking away from Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 12 and a clip from Star Wars Episode III of Darth Vader and Emperor standing together. Rescored the scenes to KOTOR II’s “Ambience-Dark Side(Short).” 46:19-46:42: Rescored Luke asking how his father died to “Anakin’s Dark Deeds.” 46:21-46:29: added 3 flashback scenes to Darth Vader from Kenobi overlaying over the movie. 1:04:24-1:04:56: Added deleted scene of Darth Vader and Chief Bast. Used NV II’s video and I upscaled it using Topaz. Scored to KOTOR’s “Sith Guard Encounter.” 1:08:35-1:08:38: Added clip of Hectarea’s A New Hope Descruction of Alderaan. It’s a quick view of Alderaan in it’s glory. 1:09:14-1:09:22: Shows a couple more clips from Hectarea’s A New Hope Destruction of Alderaan. Shows Death Star approaching planet and another clip of Alderaan’s city. 1:09:31-1:09:37: This is the destruction of Alderaan. Added flashback scene of Leia’s parents from the last episode of Kenobi. It cuts to two scenes I overlayed from each other from Hectarea’s A New Hope Destruction of Alderaan of laser hitting Alderaan. Added clip of Bail’s command center exploding from Star Wars Rogue Squadrons video game. All scenes scored to Samuel Kim’s “The Clone Wars Unreleased Soundtrack Shattered & Victory and Death” leaving some audio from the Star Wars Rogue Squadrons game to hear a slight explosion. 1:09:41-1:10:16: Rescored Ben feeling the death of Alderaan to KOTOR II’s “Kreia and the Dark Side.” 1:11:45-1:12:47: Rescored Han not believing in the force to KOTOR II’s “Aboard the Ebon Hawk.” At the end during 1:12:42, I added a subtle sound from KOTOR II “Ambience – Light Side (Short).” 1:13:45-1:14:56: Rescored the Millennium Falcon coming out of hyperspace in the asteroid field to KOTOR II’s “Jek’Jek’ Tarr Tunnels.” 1:40:22-1:44:14: Inserted FXitinPost’s Star Wars SC38 Reimagined Clip while cutting out the scenes which are from the film itself: 1:42:44-1:42:59, 1:43:06-2:43:11, and 1:43:25-1:43:30. 1:45:26-1:46:21: Rescored/Scored to Samuel Kim’s “Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Theme Kenobi Series Unofficial Soundtrack.” I used the emotion section that plays during Duchess Satine’s death. 1:45:37-1:46:07: Flashbacks to last episode of Kenobi showing young Luke and Leia with Ben. Added subtitles explaining different planet names. 1:55:25-1:55:45: Added Thomas Jordan’s “Alternate Biggs and Luke Reunion High quality and size” video of the deleted scene. Scored to The Noble Demon’s “Star Wars Rogue Squadron Main Title Orchestral Arrangement” which is a remix from the Rogue Squadron video games. Song ends at 1:56:55. 2:16:00: Added end titles.
