| Review: This project was my very first introduction to fanediting so I may be a little bias but it really showed me the power of editing right out the gate. As a huge LotR film fan, I was tried several times to enjoy this prequel but I couldn’t finished the Hobbit trilogy. I even fell asleep in the theatre during all movies and basically use the theatrical blurays as I sedative to cure my insomnia. Thankfully this edit was created that rescued the whole franchise and despite not being perfect to modern fanediting standards, it’s still an awesome watch regardless of its 4 hour run time. It’s a great bit of nostalgia and a brilliant piece of fanediting history. |
