Synopsis: The Goblet of Fire needs a much more cohesive tone to follow along with the rest, as the tone of the fourth movie is in many ways quite different from the rest of the series - not just in score and pacing, but in visual style and tone. I also noticed how Goblet of Fire Director, Mike Newell, tried to get back in some of all the warm, golden, cozy colors of Columbus' entries, and when listening in on the Commentary Track I found it odd how these choices came into play. Prisoner of Azkaban had a silver/brown color palette to it that looked very lived-in and real, and then suddenly Mike Newell decided to throw all of that away - despite all the critical acclaim for the visual style of the Prisoner of Azkaban, because he always liked the warm tone of the Columbus' movies, yet he continued with the visual presentation (Hogwarts tracking shots and movie style editing) created by Alfonso in PoA. The entire movie is tonally and stylistically confusing, and that was the most important thing for me to fix - along with franchise continuity.

Synopsis: Changes in v2.0: Warning screen added to the beginning of the film. Updated intro sequence with “WW” shield instead of “HP” shield. Two audio tracks are now available in the video file, a 5.1 surround sound and a 2.0 stereo track. Adjusted coloring on the scene as Newt/Jacob go to see the snakes. Adjusted audio in the added scene of Credence tearing up the city and Newt showing up at the police barricade. ---- The next film in the Wizarding World extended edition set is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.. All deleted scenes have been added back into the movie. One scene was trimmed due to a repeated set of lines that appear later in the film. Scenes were color corrected to match the main film for seamless integration. As with my previous EE's, the audio has been mixed down to stereo. Captions are included in the M4V file.

Synopsis: I've always loved the Harry Potter books, but the movies have been pretty hit or miss for me. I completely love what they have made, but there are many scenes of poor acting, or bad character choices that are completely fixable. My main goals overall: - Create light edits that don't try to reimagine or create anything new, but rather just enhance the original movies - Remove small annoyances and some poor performances (Harry shushing Ron, Barty Crouch Jr tongue flicks, dumbing down Hagrid, etc) - Retain as much world building as possible (Clock in the Weasley's home, monster roar at housekeeping in PoA, etc) - Keep the original music to their own movies, except for a few rare occasions - Tighten up action wherever I could Goals for Goblet of Fire: - Remove the Ron and Harry's broken friendship subplot - Cut out as much bad acting, dialog and writing as I could - Take out all instances of the Crouch Jr tongue flicks
