Synopsis: The community of Crystal Lake is home to a bunch of missing persons reports, all of them revolving around the Wessex County National Forest. Families seek closure as residents demand answers, but nothing conclusive. Until now. Kyle McLeod, a YouTube content creator notorious for his hiking vlogs, backpacks his way through the forest, and trespasses into private property that claims to be a wildlife preserve. There, he finds the remains of what was Camp Crystal Lake, and soon discovers that he is not alone. Barely managing to escape with his life, some of the residents are able to see what Kyle found on his camera, and team up with him to put an end to the legend known as Jason Voorhees once and for all.
