Synopsis:

In a world where speed and family intertwine, Dom and Letty's crew is pulled back into chaos when the enigmatic Cipher forces Dom to betray his family. Meanwhile, cybernetically enhanced Brixton Lorr threatens global devastation, prompting a reluctant alliance between Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw. As Dom confronts his past, including a deadly encounter with his estranged brother, the crew faces their most dangerous foe yet, Dante Reyes, seeking revenge for his father's death. The saga tests their loyalty, skills, and the strength of their bonds in a relentless pursuit of justice and survival.

Intentions:

In 2023 I finally got around to watching Hobbs & Shaw, F9: The Fast Saga and Fast X. I already knew the timeline/continuity was terrible in this franchise and these movies just reinforced that thinking. I also found out my best friends had never seen any of the films and didn't want to start because the commitment was too overwhelming. So I decided to edit the franchise into a TV series that fixes the continuity and also makes it more palatable to new viewers.

Change List:

Custom title sequence for every episode. Episode 1: The Fate of the Furious Recut the F9 flashbacks again to intro the season. Minor color corrections. Cut the intro from The Fate of the Furious. Cut after Hobbs and Shaw escape prison. Added “Go Off” by Lil Uzi to the credits. Episode 2: The Fate of the Furious Minor trimming. Cut after Dom finds the tracker. Added some suspense music (Suspenseful Tension Music | Investigation Crime Suspense Background Instrumental Music Royalty Free) to the credits. Episode 3: The Fate of the Furious Audio Corrections. Cut after the team is told they don’t have to hold back. Added “Rogue, Pt. 1” from The Fate of the Furious score to the credits. Episode 4: The Fate of the Furious Audio corrections. Episode 5: Hobbs & Shaw Trimmed a couple scenes. Cut after Brixton hits the bus in London. Added the song” Even If I die” from the soundtrack to the credits. Episode 6: Hobbs & Shaw Cut a small sequence from the beginning. Cut right before Hobbs and the Shaw’s go to Samoa. Added the song “La’u Samoa” by Peter Laussen to the credits to tease the next episode. Episode 7: Hobbs & Shaw Cut all the credit scenes. Episode 8: F9 The Fast Saga Added the Shaw prison escape scenes from Hobbs & Shaw’s credits to the beginning. Re-framed and recut to remove the credits. Isolated the vocals. Added the Red Dead Redemption “Prison Break Theme” to the opening sequence. Audio adjustments. Cut out all flashbacks. Cut right before the race flashback. Extended the song “Brother” from the score into the credits. Episode 9: F9 The Fast Saga Audio adjustments. Added in the last F9 flashback to start. Cut out all flashbacks. Cut after Han returns. Added “Hello Beastie” from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest to the credits. Episode 10: F9 The Fast Saga Audio adjustments. Cut out most flashbacks. Cut the credit scene. Extended the song “Real” into the credits. Episode 11: Fast X Reframed aspect ratio. Cut after Rome. Added “Epic Church Organ | Classical Cinematic Organ Music | Rafael Krux” to the credits. Episode 12: Fast X Reframed aspect ratio. Cut after Dom and Dante’s race. Added the song “Furious” by BIA to the credits. Episode 13: Fast X Reframed aspect ratio. Intercut the F9 credit scene with the similar scene from Fast X. Cut after the bridge fight. Extended the song “Spinnin’” by Lil Durk into the credits. Episode 14: Fast X Reframed aspect ratio. Moved the mid credit scene to the end of the episode. Cut the first credit song.
