– Made my own intro, and removed the long intro scene. – My intro has textual explanation for people unfamiliar with the story. – Changed font of Dune title. – Shorter induction ceremony scene. – Removed Paul and Duncan this-seems-forced relationship scene. – Shorter dialogue between Paul and his father among the tombstones. – Shortened scene of priestess coming to interrogate Paul. – Shortened preparation to leave Caladan montage. – Shortened arrival on Dune, and ornithopter ride to Arrakeen. – Removed big spider creature on Giedi Prime. – Shortened scene of Stilgar meeting Duke Leto Atreides. – Shortened flying parts of the Duke and others going out to watch the spice harvesting. – For the rest of the film, there are much quicker transitions between scenes, and scenes somewhat shortened. – In many parts of the film, I didn't include all of the visions Paul was having. Kept some, not all.
