Synopsis:

Welcome to the first installment of ARROWVERSE BEGINNINGS! AB are not season arc movies. They are more like Expanded Pilots. Exploring our hero's debut in greater depth and detail than the original 42 minute episode could ever allow. It is not a full origin or even the full story... it is the Beginning of a Legend!

Intentions:

FAN EDIT OBJECTIVES: To have all the main arc plots and characters in place by the end of the expanded adventure. Such as introducing Felicity and Malcom Merlyn. Having Diggle learn Oliver's identity, setting up the evolution of Team Arrow. Set up Robert Queen's book of names. Swap in Caity Lotz for the Queen Gambit flashback Down play the Laurel/Oliver/Tommy soap Remove all of Oliver's voice overs.

Change List:

--way too many audio changes/rescoring/trims to list --Removed all Oliver voice overs --Expanded version of Pre-Titles Island rescue with extra footage from seasons 5 and 8, all rescored --Green Arrow title card by YouTuber Alex Steimels, with green colour correction --Replaced first flashback (Not-Sara) with Queen's Gambit departing Starling City --cut Laurel seeing the news about Oliver's return on the television --cut Oliver asking to visit the company at dinner, as this goes against his later actions/interests --Second flashback swapped out Not-Sara with Caity Lotz from season two --Minor trims/changes to Oliver setting up his lair --Cut Oliver giving Diggle sleeper choke hold --Cut Tommy and Laurel post-party scene --transition into episode two with Moira chewing out Diggle over losing Oliver --followed by the Moira reveal she was responsible for Oliver's kidnapping --Cut the Queens watching the news before going to Court --Court Hearing scene expanded by combining three separate flashbacks into one --added deleted scene of Laurel and client arriving at the courthouse steps --cut Laurel and Oliver's confrontation inside the Court House --cut Laurel in court --created a montage establishing the Green Arrow and the importance of Oliver's List --moved some scenes around, added new flashback at Robert's gravestone --cut Detective Lance visiting Somers --from this point onward, all flashbacks are different from original broadcast --cut Laurel dialogue about Oliver showing his mother who he wants to see, since this later scene is also cut --cut Detective Lance questioning Oliver after the apartment attack --cut ground breaking ceremony including Laurel and Tommy --transition into episode 3 with Moira meeting Merlin scene from episode four, removed Patel reference --moved up earlier Oliver showing Tommy future night club site with a newly created flashback --cut entire Speedy shoplifting/grounding storyline --cut most of Oliver's computer research scenes --cut Lance returning to the scene of Holder's murder --cut Oliver dialogue at night club referring to Thea being grounded --cut Laurel and Tommy scene at court house --cut Yao Fei flashbacks trying make Oliver kill a chicken, swapped out with Oliver talking to his father's ghost --expanded Oliver saving Diggle, ending on a cliffhanger --added the murder of Adam Hunt --custom end credits with Lyle Lovett's "He Will Rise Up"

Additional Notes:

Keep the story tight, less soap but still rich in character moments with Oliver as the driving force as much as possible.
