Intentions:
This fanedit was my first (before The Acolyte), and has been sleeping in my computer since the end of season one. That exercice was born from my frustration about the series format, short lenght episodes and the dull feeling that Mando was just wondering around without a clear objective. So I decided to recut the season by reframing the narrative centered around the child (aka Baby Yoda) thus the tagline above.

Unfortunately... I didn't make any changelist at the time, I don't have the editing project anymore. But essentially I cut everything that was episodic in nature, to keep to story revolving around the child only. The 3 parts series, instead of the feature formula, was essential because between part 2 and 3 we can assume that there is a gap in the story, not told, before Mando goes back to Cara Dune in the first act of episode 3, eventhough the end of part two finishes when Mando and Grogu leaves Sorgan (episode 4 - 7 samurai arc!)
