Synopsis:

A city boy imagines himself as the famous fedora wearing archaeologist going on an adventure in the jungle. There he fights against some Raiders who are after a precious Golden Idol.

Intentions:

Align the short film more with the Indiana Jones franchise by rescoring it with John Williams' score, using the fonts for the opening and end credits as seen in the films, and add the Disney, Lucasfilm, and Paramount logos complete with the transition.

Change List:

Added Starlight Fan Edits Logo. Added film grain. Added the Disney, Lucasfilm, and Paramount logos. Have the Paramount logo transition into the skyline of New York similar to the first four Indiana Jones films. Used "Indy's Very First Adventure" (from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) by John Williams for the opening. Used Open-Kapitalen font and Eurostile fonts for both the opening titles and end credits. The credits using the Open-Kapitalen font are done by putting together the individual letters to construct the credits. Added "New York 2024" in Eurostile font similar to the Indiana Jones films in how they indicate the location and year. A static shot of New York replaces the original opening credits of the short. Used the pieces "In the Jungle" (from Raiders of the Lost Ark) and "Indy's Very First Adventure" (from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) when rescoring the scene of the boy picking up the Fedora and when we transition to his imagination. Added a torch sound effect. Added "South America 1936" in Eurostile font similar to the Indiana Jones films and also serves as a nod to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Added reverb to the Raiders shouting. Rescored the scene of the boy in the caverns with "The Idol Temple" (from Raiders of the Lost Ark) by John Williams Rescored the sequence of the boy running away from the Raiders to chasing after one of them with the following tracks by John Williams: "Escape from the Temple", "In the Jungle", and "Flight from Peru" (from Raiders of the Lost Ark). The last half of "Flight from Peru" is substituted with an identical cue from "The Journey to Akator" (from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). Its tempo is sped up match that of the previous track. Rescored the scene of the boy reaching for the Idol with "Centuries Join Hands" by John Williams (from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny). Redid the city sound effects with new versions to remove the original music track completely. Rescored the scene of the boy closing his eyes to imagine an adventure with an abridged version of "Finale & End Credits" by John Williams (from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). This piece plays throughout the whole end credits. Have the "Treasure Imagination" logo fade out to credits I've made modeled after the one from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The scrolling credits remain intact with some minor brightness changes.

Additional Notes:

AI Vocal Remover has been used to split the dialogue and sounds from the music. The opening titles and end titles uses Open-Kapitalen (which has been provided to me by commanderclif from the MR Discord) and each letter is individually separated and stitched together for each respective credit. The short film itself has no connections to the Indiana Jones franchise itself, but it does take inspiration and even mentions a trademark of the franchise in the end credits.

Other Sources:

A high resolution photo of New York from Google Images is used as the establishing shot. All elements (aside from fonts) including the original short, the Indiana Jones soundtracks, 4K opening logos, and additional sound effects are from YouTube.
