Synopsis:

This is a heavy re-work of The Batman - removing some of the retcons and combining it with Batman Begins to treat it as a prequel to the Christian Bale films rather than a series reboot. All unmasked face-shots of Robert Pattinson are stripped out and the character is re-cut as the classic playboy archetype rather than the awkward gaunt pale recluse that Pattinson plays. The new catwoman is stripped out entirely, and the new Jim Gordon is turned into a nameless policeman, keeping the Batman Begins version as The Jim Gordon. The Batman version of Falcone is kept, treating the Batman Begins version as a nameless gangster. Parts of Batman Begins are cut out, rearranged, or recut as well to make the stories to flow together as seamlessly as possible. A few seconds of Dark Knight Rises are used as filler too.

Intentions:

I didn't think the gaunt, pale, emo Batman from The Batman was very compelling, so I reworked the character to be more in line with the Nolan series, with Christian Bale being the face of Bruce throughout. There were also a bunch of other conflicting characters that had to be cut or revised for this to work as a cohesive film.

Change List:

The primary cuts throughout this edit are to dovetail multiple actors into one character, removing scenes, mentions of names, etc, so that the new catwoman is removed and only exists as a waitress, all unmasked shots of Robert Pattinson's face are removed, the new Jim Gordon is a nameless policeman, and the Batman Begins version of Falcone is a nameless gangster.
