Synopsis:

So I actually feel like this is my favorite adaptation of the novel, courtesy of Angela Bettis being just perfect for the roles. The film itself well it’s not perfect, I think the script is solid, but the direction and special effects leave a lot to be desired. There is this running theme of a police detective asking survivors of the prom questions about Carrie. This adds nothing to the film and makes it feel so long because it is long! Two hours and twelve minutes?? Come on man. That’s like if someone made a two hour and 17 minute slasher film starring a clown, oh wait. I have a habit of abandoning edits before I can even finish a rough draft. Well I set out to challenge myself so I did this in one day, can’t quit something when it’s already done.

Intentions:

I wanted to make this edit because this is my go to version of the Carrie story but the length of the film and the police stuff just brought it down for me.

Change List:
