Synopsis:

Synopsis: The story kicks off with Jean-Luc Picard making arrangements for Frontier Day when he is contacted by an old friend, Beverly Crusher, who brings urgent news. She is extremely vague about the situation but hints at a conspiracy, suggesting that the Federation might be involved in the danger she faces. Picard reunites with his first officer, William Riker, to confront this new threat. This leads to an adventure where the heroes seek assistance in their attempt to rescue their old friend. Differences to my edit: My movie edit of the first four episodes of Picard Season 3 differs in the fact there is less swearing, no scenes involving Worf & Raffi, overall cut of bad jokes and all of the intro credits & outro credits.

Intentions:

.

Change List:

- Cut pretty much all of the Worf and Rafi scenes. - Cut most of the swearing except for Captain Shaw. - Cut all of the credit scenes for all of the episodes, but not episode 4 because that is my placeholder end credit sequence. - Cut all of the commercial blackouts that were still there in the Blu-Ray copies. - Cut all of the brief intro themes from all of the episodes. - Cut Vadic's first use of the "portal gun" so that Riker's "Fire everything we got!!!" is justified rather than a stupid mistake (that way it comes across as his first time seeing it). - Cut some quips that felt out of place. - Cut some dialogue moments of Riker hinting at Jack being Picard's son but kept the Elevator dialogue. - Made all of transitions as seamless as possible. - Restructured a lot of sequences during the segments when Jack and Seven are investigating. - Cut Worf narration during sequence of a changeling plating a bomb and replaced it with music & Star Trek SFX. - When Seven talks to Shaw cut them making a reference to cannabis. - When Seven goes to investigate after leaving Shaw, it starts as soon as she leaves the room. In the original cut Riker fills her in on the transporter chief, we don't need that Shaw just informed her and I cut a lot of ADR. All of the scenes of her investigating someone's quarters are all together and ends when she finds the changeling pot. - Trimmed the Shaw confrontation in the holodeck bar. - Trimmed some fat during the last few minutes.
