Synopsis:
The idea behind this edit was to cut out, what I believed to be, any unnecessary dialogue/filler and remove any shots/scenes that hadn't aged very well and looked a bit silly. Also, with the release of the 'Donner Cut', to add in any extra scenes/shots from that version that would further enhance the viewing experience.

Intentions:
The original idea was to use some footage from the 'Donner Cut' and edit it into the theatrical release. I thought that there were some good shots/scenes/ideas in the 'Donner Cut' that could improve the original. After re-watching the movie, I realised that a lot more could be cut to enhance the viewing experience, so I got to work. Most of the edits/cuts are to increase the flow and pace of the film and some dialogue from certain scenes has been removed.

It's not the full scene that has been added but, some of the scene of General Zod, Ursa and Non being trapped in the prism from the 'Donne Cut' has been used to restructure the scene. Other shots from the scene between Lex Luthor and the Kryptonians after Superman has fled have been used. Other cuts are - Small cut in the scene when Superman gets pushed back by the force of the elevator exploding in space - Edit in the dialogue between Huston and Artemis 2 - Edit in dialogue between General Zod, Ursa and Non on the moon - Streamlining of the conversation between Superman and Lois Lane in the fortress of Solitude - Removal of the scenes of the President watching the Kryptonians destroy the town on the news - A restructure of the scene when Superman loses his powers in the chamber - Edit in dialogue when Superman/Clark Kent askes for his fathers help the fortress of solitude
