Synopsis:

The first episode of my 'Star Wars: Rebels' Series. The original movie and 4 episodes of the TV series are recut into a movie structure, removing lots of filler, childish humor, and over use of exposition.

Intentions:

Star Wars Rebels the TV series is a great addition to the Star Wars canon. However, it has a lot of filler, childish humor, too many things are spelled out for you, because this show is aimed at tweens. I wanted to create a movie series that stuck to the Star Wars movie structure, while also stripping out the filler and childish bits of the series.

Change List:

- Added classic Star Wars opening, complete with the Fox opening, Lucasfilm logo and new opening text crawl. - Started film with the Inquisitor and Vader - Cut Ezra and Empire confiscating Fruit scene. - Cut any dialog with Ezra talking to himself to explain to the audience what he is thinking or doing before stealing the guns. - Cut Cartoon sound effect when Ezra ducks. - Cut every unfunny remarks Ezra makes during the chase, or anytime he's talking to himself. - Cut Sabine saying "Gooood Luckkkk!" - Cut Kanan "Who is that kid?" - Cut the Kanan scene where he's joking with the Trooper when he throws the grenade at him, now he just pulls up and throws it at him. - Cut Zeb talking to himself "If Kanan catches that kid" - Cut Ezra line "I won it fair and square" - Cut Ezra talking to himself as the Tie Fighter is shooting at him. - Cut Kanan saying "woah" - Cut Ezra saying "Awwww!" - Cut Kanan line "How about a little more altitude, and a little less attitude" - Cut Hera line " What a kid tripped you up? Must be some kid, spill" - Cut Ezra line "Oh that's preeeety cool" - Cut scene of Rebels explaing to Ezra about what the Empire does and how on the other side of Lothal there are poor people. - Cut scene of Rebels giving people food. - Cut any stupid Ezra dialog when he's talking to himself when he finds the lightsaber. - Cut Ezra dialog - "this whole mission thing is nuts, Im not against sticking it to the empire etc..etc.." - Cut the silly dialog after Zeb punches the Stormtroopers, after he's pretending to be a bald wookie. - Cut scene when Ezra is refusing to help Kanan, Sabine, and Zeb on the Imperial ship. - Cut Kanan "You doing ok Kid?" Ezra "You kiddin? waaaahhh!" - Cut Zeb "Kid get outta the way!" - Cut "Blow it out your exhaust vent" - Trimmed down Scene where Ezra meets Agent Callus for the first time (removed bad dialog). - Cut scene where Ezra is in the vents and eavesdropping on the intercom in the helmet and getting excited knowing the Rebels are coming back for him. - Cut Sabine "This time try not to leave till everyone gets back aboard". Zeb "It's not my fault" Ezra "That's debatable" - Cut all dumb Yoda jokes. - Trimmed down scene where the Inquisitor finds Ezra and Kanan for added tension. - Removed line "The Darkside" and Ezra says "Never heard of it!" - Trimmed down Elevator scene for added tension. - Cut out Ezra learning to become one with Animals. - Cut out Ezra talking to his Dad. - Trimmed down pointless Empire banter about the Parade. - Cut out Drunk Kanan. - Cut "Theeeese Rebels have Ruined Empire day!" - Cut Ezra "Thats good to know!" - Cut "You're just full of fun facts" - Trimmed Ezra and Kanan's dialog in the ship - Cut Ezra scene when he's saying "be one with the force".
