Detective K: The Blade Runner Sequel
Original Title: Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Faneditor: BingeGuy
Franchise: Blade Runner
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 26th August 2019
Fanedit Runtime: 118
Synopsis: This edit is a radical change from the original movie. It was an experiment. I didn't know if it would work, but it did. The major plot changes are: K has no hologram girlfriend, and K doesn't think he's the missing child. As a result of these two major changes, K is a stronger, more selfless, and more likable character. How can K not think he's the missing child? [answer contains spoilers for fan edit] K tells his boss that his memories are implanted and not real. But after finding the carved horse, he knows that that one memory is a real one. So he asks Dr. Stelline if real memories can be implanted. She sort of confirms a yes, but says it's illegal to do. K then returns to his boss and says, "It's done" -- lying to her maybe for the first time -- because he now wants to protect the missing half-human, half-replicant child. When K enters Deckard's home area in Vegas, he stares at the carved animals on the desk. This is not easy to spot but it does happen. K surmises that Deckard is the father and asks what the mother's name was. K thinks the missing child is a boy, but Freysa tells him it was a girl. K is willing to die to keep the special child safe.

Zack Snyder's Wonder Woman
Original Title: Wonder Woman (2017)
Faneditor: PanExis
Franchise: Wonder Woman
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 12th March 2024
Fanedit Runtime: 133
Synopsis: I love Zack Snyder’s DCEU trilogy. I’ve rewatched it at least half a dozen times and they're actually the only three films, along with the first Wonder Woman movie, that I consider as the DCEU canon – at least until the day the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad is hopefully released. Now, the problem is, while WW’s story fits in my headcanon of the Snyderverse perfectly, it is all over the place in terms of tone coherence. Most people, I must say, have issues with the third act of the film. I do not. I think it’s Snyderish enough for my taste. It is the first half of the film that bothers me in every marathon I’ve made so far, as it tries to copy the MCU formula a little too much for me to bear with it. The London parts, especially, bombard you with every modern superhero film trope that I cannot stand. Diana’s naivety pushed to the limits, the walking meme that is Etta Candy and the introduction of Steve’s not-so-formidable team, all played for laughs.

Kenobi - A Star Wars IC Fanedit Version 1.5

Fanedit Runtime: 109
Synopsis: Experience Kenobi Like Never Before If you've enjoyed my previous STAR WARS edits, you're in for a treat with this one. In my fanedit of Kenobi, I've transformed the series into a fast-paced, 1 hour and 49 minute STAR WARS movie by cutting out-of-character Kenobi scenes, out-of-place humor, over-the-top acting (Reva), and the annoying Leia stuff. The result is a thrilling and enjoyable STAR WARS movie that stays true to the essence of Obi-Wan Kenobi from the original and prequel trilogies.

The Hobbit: The Epic Cut
Original Title: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013)The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014)
Faneditor: Licadnium
Franchise: Lord of the Rings
Fanedit Type: FanMix
Fanedit Release Date: 22nd June 2024
Fanedit Runtime: 180
Synopsis: A one-film fanedit of The Hobbit trilogy that prioritizes matching tone with the Lord of the Rings films. It attempts to answer the question "What if director Peter Jackson had decided to shoot The Hobbit in a single movie?" This is a work of imagination of that alternative film that we never saw. The edit embraces director Jackson's style, and attempts to give the movie a tone closer to the epic of the Lord of the Rings (hence the title). It has the side effect of bringing the film closer to the book's storyline as well. I've been very selective on what is included and what is left out. There are two versions of the edit, "Theatrical" and Extended, of course this mimics what Jackson did with the LotR trilogy and goes in line with the motivation behind the edit (I write "Theatrical" in quotation marks because obviously this has never been in any theater). The recommended version is the extended one. The edit is in 4K quality with 5.1 audio, sourced from the blu-rays of the trilogy that came out in 2021.

Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen
Original Title: Hellboy (2019)
Faneditor: Redstripes
Franchise: Hellboy
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 21st June 2024
Fanedit Runtime: 114
Synopsis: Hellboy (2019) is surely not a masterpiece and can’t be compared with Del Toro’s movies, but it would have been at least a decent movie and a worthy entry in the Hellboy franchise if it hadn’t been turned into a total mess due to studio interferences during post-production. Most of the complains people has with this movie are largely due to some terrible decisions/additions made while the movie was edited. My best guess is that someone thought that it would be a good idea to make a R rated Hellboy movie look like Guardians of the Galaxy. I have seen it when it was released and almost completely forgot about it. Out of curiosity, I recently decided to rewatch it, to see if it was as bad as people remembered and thought that there was somewhere in it a decent movie that could be salvage.

They are still a motivating factor for Peter, but there is no more plot of trying to uncover their mystery. - Trim a lot of the smoldering and awkward pauses throughout, especially in the first movie. - Make Peter less of a popular skater kid. They tried too hard to make him cool. - Change some of the music choices so that felt out of place. - Cut some of the over the top campiness in both films. Both films now run at just about 2 hours each so they don't overstay their welcome.
